I would like to swap only unused and un-cancelled stamps with original gum with you, will exchange 1:1. I can not accept yellowed stamps or those stamps something written or stuck on the back of them and the stamp teeth must be totally in good condition. Otherwise I send them back. Moreover I can exchange new, not used and not hinged banknotes with you, coin as well. I want two copies of every banknote and coin, how about you? I should be happy if we can make friend through this hobby. Anyway my address is: Mansoor Moazzeni No. 7, Vahdat St., Nikmaram, Saffary Alley, Bistoon Ave., Rasht 41557 - Iran Thanks and waiting for your reply, Mansoor

Great website. I was wondering if you knew where I could find information about the Ceylon War Tax double overprints, especially of 1918. I am interested in learning how the double overprints were created, because I have a block of twelve(SG ) where the double overprint occurs on the two left stamps of the top row and all of the lower stamps. I am trying to find out how the overprint was applied, so as to try to determine whether these are genuine or not. Any ifnormation would be greatly appreciated.

Are you John Davis, author of the June 2005 'Stamp Magazine' article; regarding Commonwealth War Tax stamps? If so, then congratulations on a most interesting article, and indeed a most informative web site. If so, would you please be so kind as to make contact with me. Although currently a GB Revenue specialist - Elder-Revenues, is the eBay nic - I'm looking to diversify and build a decent collection in another field... War Tax Stamps/Red Cross over(under)prints. Any advice or direction you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in appreciation and Best Wishes, Alan (Member of Revenue Society of Great Britain and The Royal Tunbridge Wells Philatelic Society)
